Hi there!
This is my projects page, where I collect some of the things I've done over the years that are notable enough to talk about.
You might be noticing that there aren't really all that many, and that's mainly because I tend to never actually start on a lot of the ideas that I've had over the years.
Going into 2025 that's oughtta change though. I'll see you when I make somethin' cool.
Youtube
Quite honestly this is a super loaded topic for me.
I've been watching youtube ever since I was a super tiny child, and as such have had the platform super ingrained into my head as a means to express yourself for the longest time. While this is slowly becoming not the case, I still really enjoy the video creation format, and plan to do it as a hobby in the foreseeable future ^^
ILLUNA
Woah that's like my totally cool online alias that I use for everything
On this channel I've had way too many ideas without really executing much of it at all. Which is why it has a total of... 0 uploads, lol.
That's not to say I haven't made anything!! I just have a lot of different visions & ideas that all take quite a while to make, and quite frankly I've never really given the time to myself to fully realize it.
Here's a big list of some of the videos that I've made (and inevitably scrapped) throughout the years
- Over the Garden Wall Essay
- Space Ghost Coast to Coast inspired show talking about random topics I found interesting
(i had the show modeled/ready to animate, but i just didn't quite have the vision/writing for it yet)
- Interviewed a ton of people about animation
- AND MANY MANY MANY MORE!!
(Fully filmed/edited, i just didn't like it)
(I remember them actually being quite insightful, I just happened to be like 14 and bad at writing lol)
I think the thing that's consistently held me back is that I've genuinely just never been able to focus on one thing for too long. It's been a process, but I've been slowly chugging along and making some pretty cool stuff now, so woohoo!
ILLUNAur
To counter my itty bitty attention span, I made this channel in hopes of making slightly lower quality stuff to fix the itch of making something and putting it out there. Anything on here takes a lot less effort, BUT I still edit it so it's like,,, watchable lol.
Usually on here it'll be like a silly short video or me playing a game for a bit. It's nothing crazy, but I still find it to have a quality that is unmistakably human.
Recently I've been trying to make anything I make as CLEAR as possible that I am not artificial, nor do I ever plan on ever trying to fit in with how mainstream social media tends to act. If I see one more "ai content creator" or mr beast clone I might lose it.
POWERFUL GAMING
This is a silly little project me and one of my buddies work on the side lol
We'll get together and play through a bunch of random things, and then make a fun lil video out of it.
We'll probably be doing a lot more than just games, but really I feel the easiest way for two online friends to make content together is to try and do something creative with the stuff we engage with together already. Very fun stuff!!
also i edit the videos so like that's pretty cool
The title is,, a work in progress.
This whole little world I have is intended to be a show in which Sam (see right) goes through the tribulations of working at a haunted apple orchard ran by an eccentric old man, and other tired co-workers who aren't paid enough to care about the mysteries surrounding them.
It would follow him going through his day-to-day, and some of the more interesting things that happen in between. Think of something like Gravity Falls but a lot more autumnal and through Soos's/Wendy's POV.
This whole thing would have to be fully directed/animated by myself, and as such would have to remain as a short series like the stuff worthikids does.
I got the idea while bored in class one day, and still plan on continuing it in one way or another. Whether the story takes a mind of it's own and transforms medium, or the meaning of the entire work changes as I develop it more, all I want to do is eventually have my characters come to life for people to enjoy!!
Don't start with your dream project.
Ossium was supposed to be a "few" things:
- Solely developed by me
- A horror game in a realistic style on Roblox
- Take place in an incredibly deep world
- Have a meaningful story about the cycle of oppression and capitalist systems
- Have stealth mechanics
- Span across an ENTIRE country I made myself
If you know anything about game development, this all seems super reasonable and a fine project for my first ever game!
The Scope
Despite it being a huge project, I was surprisingly productive at working on it.
I'd have little reminders on my phone telling me to go make some progress, I had a tiktok page that got up to approximately ~60k followers (im still shocked tbh) at it's peak, and really I was just super excited to be working on something I found so enjoyable.
Unfortunately that reality didn't last long when I inevitably started running out of steam; I quickly started to realize that there were parts that I just couldn't get myself to fully complete. I got the models, maps, basic worldbuilding, but there was just SO much that it inevitably got a bit overwhelming.
I still have a few things left over, but I don't expect myself to come back to it anytime soon. As of now it just kinda sits in the back of my head as a constant reminder of how sparse time is. Don't waste your time focusing on something huge without working your way up to it.
Here's a quick little gallery of some of my favorite screenshots/tidbits.
